LiveXLive to Stream Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival

LiveXLive will be livestreaming select performances from Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival on the LiveXLive platform beginning today (Friday, August 11), and ending Sunday, for music fans outside of the United States.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival, which takes place in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and the second year of the LiveXLive streaming partnership. This year’s streaming lineup includes Metallica, Lorde, Gorillaz, Alt J, Above and Beyond, Empire of the Sun, as well as many other artists across rock, alternative, hip hop, electronic and pop music.

LiveXLive and Cinedigm have partnered in a worldwide distribution agreement that will give music fans across the globe access to LiveXLive’s live and original video programming. Cinedigm will focus on circulating the LiveXLive service worldwide on cable, satellite, skinny bundles, and digital distributors, as well as distribution of LiveXLive’s programming rights into the digital retail ecosystem, including Amazon, iTunes, and Netflix, among others.

Additionally, through a recent joint agreement with Cinedigm and Jungo TV, LiveXLive’s channels and content will also be distributed onto cable, telecommunication, and technology companies in fast-growing, emerging markets, which represent over 2.5 billion consumers.

King Bach Connects with LiveXLive as Contributing Social Editor, Content Creator

LiveXLive Studios announced that Andrew B. Bachelor, better known as social media star King Bach, has signed on to create original content for LiveXLive, the worldwide premium live music video streaming network, and act as a Contributing Social Editor. 

LXL Studios will bring Bach’s exuberant energy and comic timing to the platform via short form video programming and contributions to LiveZone, LiveXLive’s flagship music magazine-style news show which is expected to launch later this year.

LiveXLive Acquires Wantickets, Expanding Reach to Millions of Engaged Live Music Fans

LiveXLive Tickets, a part of Loton’s LiveXLive worldwide premium live music video streaming network, today announced that it has acquired all of the operating assets of Wantickets, a branded leading online nightlife, electronic dance music and event marketing and ticketing company.

The acquisition greatly expands LiveXLive’s pool of festivals, and venues, and will allow the company to expand the reach of its content by utilizing Wantickets’ large database of ticket buyers, which will help launch its monetization engine, including pay per view, on demand and most importantly, a subscription model.

LiveXLive’s Parent Company, Loton, Corp., Files Registration Statement for Proposed Public Offering

LiveXLive, Corp. announced today that its parent company, Loton, Corp., has publicly filed a Registration Statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed underwritten public offering of Loton’s shares of common stock.

LiveXLive is one of the world’s only premium internet networks devoted to live music and music-related video content. The LXL platform has featured performances and content from some of the most popular artists in various music genres, including Rihanna, Radiohead, Metallica, Duran Duran, Chance The Rapper, Bruce Springsteen and Maroon 5.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. BMO Capital Markets Corp. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the proposed offering.
