LiveXLive to Stream Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival

LiveXLive will be livestreaming select performances from Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival on the LiveXLive platform beginning today (Friday, August 11), and ending Sunday, for music fans outside of the United States.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival, which takes place in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and the second year of the LiveXLive streaming partnership. This year’s streaming lineup includes Metallica, Lorde, Gorillaz, Alt J, Above and Beyond, Empire of the Sun, as well as many other artists across rock, alternative, hip hop, electronic and pop music.

“At LiveXLive, we are committed to bringing the world’s biggest festivals and experiences to music fans all over the world,” said Robert Ellin, founder and CEO of LiveXLive. “Even though Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival takes place in San Francisco, we’re going to ensure that fans worldwide won’t miss the incredible performances from this weekend by streaming them on our platform.”

The LiveXLive festival livestream is set to begin at 10 p.m. UTC on Friday. The stream will be globally available on www.livexlive.com, excluding the United States. The stream will also be simulcast on LiveXLive’s Facebook page. Dailymotion will provide additional distribution of LiveXLive’s Outside Lands livestream outside the United States on www.dailymotion.com/sfoutsidelands. Artist times and streaming availability are subject to change.

British model and personality Sophie Sumner will be the host of the LiveXLive Outside Lands livestream. Sumner is an Oxford-native, winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” and a passionate music fan.
